Critical Path Recruitment is a specialist construction recruiter based in Kuala Lumpur. We find engineers, project managers and project controls professionals for companies building across Malaysia.
Our story
We started on the project side.
We come from project delivery and project controls: programmes, progress reports, delay analysis and the daily work of getting a job finished. We saw the same problem on project after project. Late or poor hires delayed the work, and generalist recruiters didn't understand the roles well enough to fix it.
So we built a recruitment firm that thinks like a project team. Each search gets a clear brief, a planned sequence and dates we're held to. Every candidate is assessed by someone who knows what the role involves on site.
The name
critical path (n.)
The longest sequence of dependent activities in a project. Any delay on it delays the whole project.
On most construction jobs, the key people are on that path. A project manager who starts late, or a planner who isn't the right fit, can cost weeks. We named the company after this idea because it's the problem we solve: getting the right people in place without holding up the programme.

We never send a CV to an employer without the candidate's agreement.

Fees and guarantees are agreed in writing before any search begins. We never charge candidates.

We're based in Kuala Lumpur and recruit for projects throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak, including the Klang Valley, Johor, Penang and Kuching.
